Daisy Class Summer Update
As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, we would like to share some of the highlights from our busy summer term.
A very special congratulations to Jacob, who celebrated his Graduation in St. Mary's Church. It was a lovely celebration shared with his family, friends, and the school community. We are all so proud of him and wish him every happiness and success in the future.
Congratulations also to Noah and Peter, who celebrated their Confirmation. They both had a wonderful day with their families and friends. We marked the occasion in school with a special party, where everyone enjoyed music, treats, and celebrating together.
A huge congratulations to Lexi and Peter, who proudly represented our school at the Special Olympics Ireland National Games in Dublin. Along with their coaches, Paula and Gina, they showed great determination, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship throughout the event. We are incredibly proud of them for taking part in such a fantastic achievement.

Our school tour was a fantastic day out. We visited the sensory garden at the swimming pool, where everyone had great fun taking part in sensory games, exploring the different activities, and enjoying time together.
We also enjoyed a visit to the library's sensory room. The class loved listening to a sensory story and exploring the sensory pod, which provided lots of opportunities for relaxation, exploration, and fun.
Another favourite outing was our trip to the local coffee shop, where everyone enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere and treating themselves to some delicious refreshments. The students did a fantastic job practising their social and community skills.
Sports Day was another highlight of the term. Everyone enthusiastically took part in the bean bag lift, races, and a variety of fun activities. It was wonderful to see so much participation, teamwork, and enjoyment throughout the day.
As the weather improved, we made the most of the sunshine by spending lots of time outdoors. The students thoroughly enjoyed the fine weather and all the opportunities it brought for outdoor play, walks, and activities.
It has been a fantastic summer term filled with celebrations, exciting trips, new experiences, and lots of happy memories. We are very proud of everything the students have achieved this year and would like to thank all our families for their continued support.
