Hello and welcome back to another update from the Rose Class!
This term, we have been having lots of fun preparing for summer!
We have been learning all about this vibrant season. The children have enjoyed reading lovely summer poems and singing summer songs during circle time. We went on some lovely walks in the sunshine.
Music, Drama, and Art have been full of fun and creativity. In Drama, we read and acted out our sensory stories, A Trip to the Fairground and A Day at the Seaside. In Art, we enjoyed hands-on activities and created beautiful summer crafts.
We had a wonderful time on our school tour to Elevate, where we enjoyed golf and bowling, followed by a delicious lunch at Supermac’s.
Sports Day was great fun, and we were so lucky with the glorious weather. We took part in lots of exciting activities, including the potato and spoon race, relay race, wheelchair race, sack race, and many more. By far, the favourite event was the tug of war! We finished the day with ice cream as a well-deserved treat.
We are looking forward to the summer holidays, which are just around the corner!
